Consortium project teams in Bangladesh and Nepal applied Smart phone based technologies for survey and monitoring purposes. This technology adds value to the monitoring system as it systematically integrates all steps of data management and at the end yields a very rich information, e.g. attribute data with GPS location and/ multimedia information that provides a comprehensive view of the field situation.
