Le nouveau b\u00e2timent construit latrines et installations d'eau<\/strong> Au bazar de Tompara, au Bangladesh, le march\u00e9 accueille d\u00e9sormais 80 commer\u00e7ants permanents, 38 familles vivant \u00e0 proximit\u00e9, 200 acheteurs r\u00e9guliers et 1\u00a0200 \u00e0 1\u00a0500 acheteurs et vendeurs le jour du march\u00e9 hebdomadaire. Auparavant, ces commer\u00e7ants, familles et vendeurs ambulants d\u00e9f\u00e9quaient \u00e0 l'air libre, cr\u00e9ant un environnement malsain. Le Comit\u00e9 de gestion du march\u00e9 local (CGM) a pris en charge l'exploitation et la maintenance, notamment la propret\u00e9 des installations. Il a \u00e9galement d\u00e9sign\u00e9 un agent d'entretien permanent pour le nettoyage r\u00e9gulier des toilettes. Outre les revenus r\u00e9guliers g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9s par l'exploitation et la maintenance, le CGM a accumul\u00e9 des fonds pour les r\u00e9parations, l'entretien et l'extension du service. Ainsi, le projet du Consortium a permis d'am\u00e9liorer significativement l'assainissement de Tompara Bazaar. Il a \u00e9galement induit un changement de comportement positif chez les habitants, qui sont d\u00e9sormais dispos\u00e9s \u00e0 utiliser et \u00e0 payer des toilettes auparavant inaccessibles.<\/p>\n
